Introduction to Microsoft Word 2007
When you do a side-by-side comparison of Word 2003 and Word 2007 the interfaces look very different. The menus and toolbars have been replaced by the Ribbon, the Office Button, and the Quick Access Toolbar. Version 2007 still has the Title Bar, but it looks different.

Below is a closer look at the familiar Word 2003 with the Menu Bar, Standard Toolbar, and the Formatting Toolbar.

Now take a closer look at Word 2007. Notice the Ribbon pretty much covers the top part of the window and the Quick Access Toolbar and the Office Button are to the left of the Title Bar.
